The head coach of the Bianconeri outfit has made a habit of not speaking to the media; so when Antonio Conte replied to Cassano’s allegations, the media paid attention.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302 was not sparing in his rebuttal to the comments made by Antonio Conte in his web chat with the Bianconeri fans. After Cassano had initially stated that he never gave in to the lures of Juventus when they were looking to sign him, he stated
that the Turin giants expected the players they bought to be “good soldiers”. There had been a huge outcry to the comments made by the former AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-Bonucci-c22064 had leapt to the defence of his beloved side by stating that Juventus had serious
professionals in their squads and that they were not headless chickens following orders.
Antonio Conte had retorted to the comments made by Cassano by stating that he conducted a personality check on the players that he was going to buy. Furthermore, he commended that the Italian national player did not have the necessary traits for him to accept
the signature of the experienced player.
Cassano had gone on to retort that the former Bari head coach is in no position to lecture him on what to do and what not to do. He had gone on to state that the former Siena head coach had been banned from the game erupting from his failure to report the
incidents of match fixing.
Conte went on to comment:
“I was astounded to read the statements from Mr Cassano, following which I am forced to make certain clarifying points. First of all, I never used the term ‘morality,’ despite the fact I have it in spades. I have already expressed my opinion on the ban for
failing to report match-fixing in the past. When asked how I choose players for Juventus, I said we look to the man, by which I meant how he interprets the role of footballer in a professional manner.”
The former Siena man remarked that there were a lot of incidents where the player has shown a lack of good judgment and that is not acceptable at Juve.
