The Bianconeri manager insists that he expects Novara to pounce like a cornered tiger on his side in the upcoming league clash; reveals some injury problems for his team.
Antonio Conte has revealed his firm belief that his team will win the Scudetto, while paying his respect to Novara who have fought hard in the league.
The Old Lady currently stand three points ahead of chasing AC Milan at the top of the Serie A standings. They will look to extend their lead over the champions, with a win in the upcoming league game against the almost-relegated Novara.
The Bianconeri manager stated his admiration for the opposition, and insisted that he does not expects them to come at them with the same defensive approach as Cesena. He extolled Coach Attilio Tesser, and insisted that he expects the manager to follow a
more aggressive path against the Old Lady.
The former Siena manager insisted that Novara fought really well to earn a promotion from Serie B, and insisted that the club’s determination to maintain the same spirit of football in the top flight deserves appreciation.
While talking to the press, the 42-year-old said:
“I really like this team, especially their Coach Attilio Tesser. Last season they played fantastic football in Serie B and I do cheer them on generally, especially as they tried to maintain that spirit even in Serie A. Compliments to Novara, even if they
don’t manage to save themselves this season.”

The Old Lady chief stated that AC Milan have a superior squad than Juventus, but insisted that organisation has allowed them to overtake the Champions. He insisted that despite their lead in the league, the Scudetto will go to the team that deserves it.
Conte stated that he has firm belief in his team’s ability to take hold of the Scudetto at the end of the season, and insisted that considering the modest start to the campaign, a league victory will be historical even for a club like Juventus.
