Juventus manager, Antonio Conte, has demanded all-three points from his side when they visit Parma on Wednesday, 15 February 2012.
The Turin giants have had two games snowed-off, and as result, they have seen themselves slip to the second spot in the league table. Conte is expecting a ruthless Juve side in the rescheduled matchday 21 game.
Juventus have struggled to find results against lower-ranked oppositions, having witnessed recent draws against Siena and Cagliari. The Old Lady Manager has urged his players to go on the pitch with just the three points in their
mind, in order to strengthen their charge for Scudetto.
While talking to the reporters, Antonio Conte said,
“Victory has to be in our DNA if we are to return to being a winning side. My career as a Coach hasn’t been long, but I’ve understood that there are certain moments where you have to take advantage of situations. The game is worth
three points. It is inevitable that we’ll go on to the field of play with the mentality required to win the tie.”
The former Atalanta boss hailed his team’s performance in the opening game of the 2011/12 campaign, when they defeated the Gialloblu by 4-1 at Juventus stadium. The 42-year-old has demanded the same spirit from his men, but has
warned them against complacency.
“I remember the first game between us well. It was an excellent start to the championship for us. And there has been a process of growth ever since.” added the Old Lady boss
Conte heaped praise on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Donadoni’s team, and believes that they have made some valuable additions to their squad in the January transfer window. The Lady Killers have been linked with a return for Sebastian Giovinco, but
Conte refused to talk about the pocket-sized striker.
The Turin giants have remained unbeaten in all competitions this season, and are set to fight for domestic silverware. They are placed second in the league table, and have won foot in the final of Coppa Italia after beating A.C
Milan by 2-1 in the first-leg of semi-final.
