The Juventus manager has praised the referee’s performance against Vincenzo Montella’s side; the tactician looking forward to the game against A.C Milan.
Juventus head-coach, Antonio Conte, was found in an awkward situation, as he admitted that the referee was ‘perfect’ in the Old Lady’s recent victory against Catania.
The tactician was talking after his team’s comprehensive 3-1 win over the Sicilian outfit at Juventus Stadium.
Conte recently blamed the referees for being afraid of awarding penalties to the Turin outfit. The manager feels that the officials need to be bold in their decisions, and Juve have only been awarded one penalty this season.
His claims started after the referee failed to spot a hand-ball in the match against Siena, which resulted in dropped points for his team.
However, Conte has argued that he is not seeking for any favours from the match authorities, and he just wants his team to be given the treatment that all other teams receive.
The Lecce-born manager was talking to Sky Sport Italia and while reflecting on his match, he continued:
"Today [Saturday], Brighi was perfect. I give him my compliments."
While talking about their next league game which will be against A.C Milan, Conte insisted that he will not alter his game plan even if Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s is available to play for the Rossoneri.
"It's for someone else to decide in this regard, but we hope that the right decision is made," remarked the former Juventus player.”
The Italian Champions are still trying to have Ibrahimovic’s three-match ban to be reduced to two matches.
Commenting on whether Ibrahimovic’s involvement would have any effect on the game plan of the Bianconeri, the 42-year-old remarked:
"We still go to Milan to play our own game whether Ibra is there or not, and Milan will do the same."
Juventus are currently placed second in the league table, but they have played a game less than the Italian Champions.
The Lady Killers will take on A.C Milan at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday, February 25.
