The Old Lady boss content with the Turin giants’ performances of late; hails Marco Borriello’s recent form
Juventus manager, Antonio Conte, insists that his side is heading in the right direction to win the Scudetto, but remains wary of AC Milan threat.
The Turin giants continued their impressive form to register an emphatic 4-0 win over Novara in matchday 35 encounter of the season on Sunday, April 29. Juve sit three points above Milan at the summit of the Serie A points table.
Conte revealed that he was predicting a tough game, as Novara are a decent opposition who have beaten few of the top clubs this season. The tactician believes that the intensity his team showed to win the game was commendable,
and they deserve to win the Scudetto with this performance.
However, the former Siena boss has warned his team against complacency, and believes that the title is theirs to lose.
While talking to the reporters, Conte remarked:
“It wasn’t easy today, as Novara beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 three days ago and today they really wanted to trip us up. We are in good shape and anyone who saw the game witnessed a Juventus team that plays with intensity. We can make calculations
too and we are closing in on the Scudetto in the right way, though we know Milan are great antagonists. The important thing is that our destiny is in our hands.”

Borriello has scored two goals in as many games, and has given Conte some serious selection headaches. The striker joined the Old Lady on-loan from AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 in the summer transfer window, and has staked claim for a permanent move
at the club.
Juventus will host Lecce in their next game on May 2nd. After the game at Juventus Stadium, the Lady Killers will play Atalanta and in their remaining matches.
