The currently banned Juventus head coach is extremely angry and disappointed in the sporting judicial system and shed light on the credibility of Carobbio.
The name and hard earned reputation of Antonio Conte has been going through the mud in the recent past, ever since the allegations surfaced of his involvement in the Scommessopoli controversy. Italian football is notorious for football mafia being able to
control the proceedings of the matches by bribing the players and fixing matches.
Recent history can be cited and the Calciopoli fixing controversy can be taken as an example of clubs and higher management being involved in wrongdoings. Despite the punishments handed out to clubs and personnel during the trials and tribulations of the

It is to be noted that Juventus plead their innocence to this day and feel hard done by the sporting authorities over the verdicts handed to them.
The Scommessopoli controversy also sees Juventus personnel portrayed in the wrong light over this, however, they have all been indicted in cases before their tenure with the Turin giants.
Conte spoke of the “grave injustice” that he has been dealt with and remarked that he wanted to clear things out to the public. He reiterated that he had never placed a bet through all these years and it was disheartening to note that he had become embroiled
in such a case.
He went on to comment on the character of Carobbio and stated that the former Siena player was deemed more credible than him was beyond his imagination and he remarked:
“They judged Pippo Carobbio, who they painted as my best friend, as a reliable and credible person, while the Federal Prosecutor has deemed me not credible.”
He further went on to remark on the option of plea bargain he was forced to undertake, and stated:
"What the Federal Prosecutor said is chilling. I consider a plea bargain blackmail. I'm an innocent person, yet I’m told by my lawyer to plea bargain.”
The former midfielder is looking to proceed to the TNAS tribunal to plead his innocence.
