The Bianconeri ace believes the third-spot in Serie A is not out of hand for Udinese, and insists that triumphs against Inter Milan and Lazio can change things dramatically for the team.

Udinese captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Di-Natale-c6306 has urged his team to believe in their ability in the crunch battle for the UEFA Champions League qualification spot, and insists that a third place finish is very achievable for them.
The Bianconeri are currently placed fourth in the Serie A points table, three points behind Lazio who sit atop the crucial third-spot in the league.
The Zebrette striker insisted that there is still significant number of games left in the league, and the team can climb the lead to qualify for the European Cup consecutively for the second time. The striker stated that the importance of the upcoming games
with Inter Milan and Lazio cannot be undermined, as the fate of the crucial qualification spot will rest on the outcome of the two games.
While talking to the press, the 34-year-old said:
“We can qualify for the Champions League. There are still quite a few games left to play this season. The encounters against Inter and Lazio will be like Finals for us, games that we will have to win at all costs.”
De Natale went on to say that the club is in a strong position to capture the qualification, as the teams around them have struggled to accumulate points from their league matches. He pointed out that the capital club have but a modest lead over them, and
they have what it takes to overtake Lazio in the remaining games.
“Things are going well, the third placed teams have never been able to pull away and our direct rivals are struggling.”
The battle for the last qualification spot in Serie A has been one of the nerve-wrecking in recent years. Only six points separate Lazio, Udinese, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, with just five games left to be played in the league.
Udinese will play the Nerazzurri in their next Serie A fixture, followed by matches against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775, Cesena, Genoa and Catania. Each of the game will be a vicious battle for victory, as all the teams look to salvage as many points as they can with the end
of the season looming closer.
