The Azzurri forward went on to remark upon the array of attacking talent held by the Nazionale, and urged the strikers to make their contributions count for the team whenever they can.
While talking to the press, the 34-year-old said:
“I thought my shot was in, but the defender did well to perform the goalline clearance. I saw that I’d hit it well and went round the goalkeeper, so that was a shame. There are many good strikers here and together we must all try to help the Nazionale when
we are needed.”

Di Natale praised the AC Milan striker stating that he is one fine partner to share the forward line with, and stressed that Cassano is very adept at providing assists.
The Azzurri striker went on to add that he is glad to see Balotelli end his scoring drought at the Euros, and insisted that he is a young aggressor with a lot of quality.
The Zebrette skipper advised the Manchester City striker to keep his calm, and revealed that he had predicted to the Light Blues-man that he would score in the match against the Irish.
