The Udinese centre-forward talked about next season’s title chase, and viewed the Turin giants as the side to beat next campaign, acknowledged competition as well.
Juventus were the surprise winners of the Scudetto last season; however, it failed to be surprising when one views their form over the course of last season. The Bianconeri remained unbeaten in the Serie A last season, and even
though it seemed like AC Milan would run away with the title, Juventus persisted and never let go when they took the lead at the final hurdle.
It is interesting to note that the club finished in the seventh position in the Serie A in the 2010-11 season, and nobody predicted such a huge change in fortunes for the Turin outfit over such a short period of time. Antonio Conte
bought along with him a philosophy of working hard and as a collective unit.
He has been very tough on his players, and many complained about their training regimen prior to the beginning of the 2011 season. However, the same players stated that the reason behind their high fitness levels was due to their
intense pre-season training regime.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Di-Natale-c6306 has been notably impressed by the Turin outfit and went on to state that the Bianconeri are a step ahead of the lot. However, he did not discount the competition Juve would face and reserved special praise for
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, he went on to comment:
“Juventus are the favourites for the Scudetto race, as they have an extra gear compared to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567, Milan and I’d also add Napoli after a good transfer strategy.”
Juventus have had transfer dealings with Udinese as well and they snapped up two of their promising midfielders in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mauricio-Isla-c24922. Isla joins the Bianconeri in a 50-50 co-ownership deal, whereas Asamoah is on
a 60-40 co-ownership deal.
Di Natale stated that Juve will be a lot stronger due to those additions, and stated:
“Don’t forget Juve have that something more with Asamoah and Isla now. I think it’s going to be an open season. I would include http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775, who every year fight to the end with us. I hope as always it ends with us in front.”
Asamoah and Isla have been in action for the Turin giants in the Trofeo TIM.
