Terek Grozny head coach, Stanislav Cherchesov, has confirmed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Blagoy-Georgiev-c7673, who moved to Amkar Perm earlier this week.
Ferreira, who joined the Grozny-based club after leaving Spartak Nalchik in 2009, has played 11 league games so far this season and scored one goal. The Brazilian defender scored an injury time winner against Spartak Moscow at
Akhmad Arena (Grozny).
If speculations are to be believed, the 28-year-old stopper is likely to join Dynamo Kyiv at the end of this month. Ferreira accompanied midfielder, Georgiev, and news in Russian media suggests that the Chechens will sign the replacements
this month.
“Unfortunately, Georgiev left us to join Amkar. He did not agree to extend the expired agreement with us. Defender Ferreira is also likely to leave the club. Whether we like it or not, will have to create a new team. The process
of infusion of new people in the community can take time.” The Soviet Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Cherchesov went on to confirm that Terek are likely to offer their first-team goalkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yaroslav-Hodzyur-c37236, an improved contract. However, the Russian manager did not explain the length of the proposed contract.
Commenting on why Aleksandr Pavlenko have not been much chance this season, the 49-year-old denied the information that the attacking Russian midfielder is likely to leave Grozny at the moment.
Cherchesov said that he want to keep the 27-year-old for another season and insisted that Pavlenko is getting better.
“He did well in the cup match against Lokomotiv Moscow. He played few games because the other players have been playing better than him.” He concluded.
Speaking on the team’s wonderful league campaign this season which saw them keeping the top-spot until 12th round of the Russian championship, Cherchesov lavished praise on his side and assured the fans of meeting their
expectations when the season resume in March.
