margarito he is scheduled to fight new ibf champ joshua clotty in november..

as for de la hoya, he shouldn't try and play mind games with potential opponents, throwing off their training  schedule with all that "will i won't i" nonsense.

It does look like Margarito will be squaring off against Clottey later this year. I don't think it will be a qalk in the park as Clottey is very good on the defensive and a powerful puncher. The problem I see with this is that Margarito will be throwing 100 plus punches and Clottey is the type of fighter that produces very little in terms of offense.

DLH should just retire. I understand the want for a last goodbye fight but he is not doing the fight fans a favor. It's not like he will be fighting a fight with any signifance either for the sport or for hs own personal legacy.

he fights joshua clottey next since dlh won't fight him even though he said he would fight the winner of margarito-cotto but he figured cotto would win. i think dlh was good for the sport for a while, he generated ridiculous ppv numbers, brought fans into the sport, and was willing to fight anybody. now, hes just a business man  who just cares about cashing out

and fighting the least threatening guy he can find. he says his last fight is for the fans but the fans don't want to see him fight a guy who started his career at 108 pounds and just recently fought his first fight at lightweight. he should just retire already.
