Manchester United winger, Antonio Valencia has gone on to complete the signing of a contract extension at the club, which is going to see him sticking around at Old Trafford for the next four years.
The winger was reported to have been offered the chance of extending his stay with the club last week and it seems like he has finally gone through with the offer.
After completing the signing of his contract extension, Valencia is quoted to have said: "I am delighted to stay at United.”

“Since my first day at Carrington, I have been happy here. I hope that I can continue to develop as a player.

"I am looking forward to making my contribution to helping this squad compete for more trophies."

United manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 has extended his stay at the club. When talking about the player and how great he has been for the team, the manager is quoted to have said:

The Scot said: "Antonio has made a fantastic contribution since his arrival. His speed, crossing ability and versatility have been a big asset for us.”
Valencia went on to sign for United from Wigan Athletic at the start of the 2009 season. Since then, the forward has gone on to make sixty eight appearances for the Red Devils, while finding the back of the net on ten occasions.
Valencia had gone on to fit into the United squad almost seamlessly. The winger went on to develop an immediate chemistry with the team’s front men and has since gone on to whip in some tantalizing crosses, that have almost always led to goals for his team.
This past season, Valencia went on to pick up an ankle injury, which saw him break his ankle. As a result, the player was ruled out of action for a couple of months. Since his return, he went on to link up with the team, as though he never took a break and
even went on to fill in as right-back for the squad on a number of occasions.
Despite the player still developing, he has come a long way from being the big fish in a little pond, that he once was in Wigan and has now gone on to establish himself and a regular with United.
This coming season is going to be a real test for the winger, with him having to compete with a number of other forwards. Should he come out on top once again, he would go on to establish himself as one of the greatest wingers to ever play in the Premier
League.
