Manchester United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Valencia-c6345 has gone on to reveal that he is furious at himself, after he went on to pick up another injury in the Europa League game against Ajax.
Valencia was part of the United side that went on to beat the Dutch team by two goals to nil and the forward even went on to set up Javier Hernandez’s goal in the game.
However, while the Ecuadorian was playing on Hernandez and getting him to score, he went on to tweak his hamstring and this has now sidelined the player for a couple of days.
The United player is quite disappointed with the injury and has revealed that it is very infuriating to pick up an injury at such a crucial point in the season.
The Red Devils winger is quoted to have said: “I am angry because it has happened at such a key moment in the season for United. I have developed and played some good matches and that's the worst consequence of all this.”
Instead of waiting on his tests and getting verifications on the extent of the injury, the player wasted no time and went on to reveal that he is going to be missing in action for around a month.
“I was anguished but after tests the medical staff have confirmed a muscle rupture in the hamstring.”
"It's important but not grave — I should be back in a month."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 has had his fair share of injuries in the past. The Winger has managed to fracture and dislocate his ankle in his United career and the way things are going, it seems like he might pick up a few more injuries in the near future.
However, Valencia has admitted that with his history of getting injured, he has initially assumed that he might be missing in action for a significant amount of time, after he was forced to come off against Ajax
He then ended by adding: "After my last injury experiences I feared the worst."
Nonetheless, with United possessing one of the best medical staffs in the Premier League, they are bound to patch the player up and have him back in action sooner, rather than later.
