No, your antral follicles are automatically present at the beginning of each cycle.  However, there are drugs that can make antral follicles grow into mature follicles.

Antral follicles are small follicles that are in the ovaries. Some fertility docs do an unltrasound to check the antral follicle count. This give the doc an idea as to what medication dose to start at, along with hormone levels. The antral follicles that are present are whats available to grow to maturity while injecting gonadotropins. You may also produce new follicles while undergoing stimulatiion.
