Ants EVERYWHERE in my bathroom!?

Question

This morning I went inside my bathroom and there were so many crawling around on the floor, in the bathtub, sink, crawling up the walls and shower curtain, ect.

How do I get rid of them? Should I get an exterminator or is there anything I can buy?

Ants sometimes arise out of heavy rains.  But they like food too, especially foods with sugars in them.   Put food in refrigerator...they don't like cold.

You could put salt around your perimeter, being careful not to get it into the foundation.  MIght use a barrier to keep it out.

Spraying with ant killer will kill them ...water does too.

Ant spray. It kills on contact. Ants don't usually come in without a food source. Look around for what ever they are going to. Eliminate this, then get an outdoor spray or powder to put around your foundation to prevent their reentry.

I would call an exterminator right away!  It is the best way to make sure they are gone and not coming back.  Most exterminators have some kind of guarantee.

Terro ant bait stations work the best and better/cheaper than exterminators....just place them along walls or on ant trails and the forager ants will take the bait poison back to the nest to feed the queen and workers...killing the nest. Ants seem to like wet places to get moisture or water for the nest and also to look for rotting wood which is easier for them to build a nest in.

Most home centers, hardware stores or Walgreens carry Terro products.

those plastic bait stations at the grocery store work as well as a high paid exterminator for ants

Get some ant spray...Walmart...Agway...ect. Spray all around the edges of the floor..walls..sink,tub and toilet..spray it good. Close the door and in a couple of hours you will be ant free. The ant spray last and works for up to 3 mo.
