Ants in the house.?

We have ants in our house. We have gotten them ever since we were living there. Is there a way to get rid of them that is safe when you have dogs?

There are many ways to rid the house of them but first you must discover the source of entry and hope that they are not carpenter ants. If so not a difference excepting that they will have most likely caused material damage of some sort. Then you need to decide your means of eradication. If they are over whelming, then you may have to call in an exterminator. Generally however, sprays and aunt traps may do the trick! Good luck. Many years ago they used to drive my mother crazy as they always managed to get into her kitchen. She ended up painting her cupboards as a result just to be sure that they were gone.

Almost forgot the pets. Just be sure they are kept out of any areas where spraying has taken place! That goes for humans as well!
