Ants in the microwave?

i left food in my microwave and ants came. i tried to kill the ants by turning on the microwave but they dont die. why not

Put salt around your microwave and in it. they hate salt.

It was a simple experiment done to find out if ants die in the microwave and the outcome was that ants take a long time to let the microwave affect them. Hardy ants!
