Question:

Ants keep eating my garden?

any one know how to stop them and other insects from killing all my flower and tomatos and a few pea plants. i got this garden safe insect killer for gardens and houseplants but it made all the leafs wilt and allmost killed them. any one know a cheep way to fix this

  1. Grits.   Feed them grits.


  2. Use a mix of cinnamon and sugar. The ants will pick up the sugar, along with the cinnamon, and take it back to their queen. Ants can’t digest cinnamon and once the queen dies from not being able to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without her.

  3. You can slow down the ants by putting some amdro or comparable pesticide around their mound.  Cutworms and other bugs can be stopped by using Green Light or comparable pesticide (low toxicity for humans).  Have you thought that it might be birds doing a number on your plants.  Quail give me fits in my garden until the plants get large enough to where they leave them alone.
