  1. 1) not possible due to the ants light weight and air resistance, it will never hit the ground hard enough to kill it.

  2. 1) No height will be sufficient. The surface area and drag coefficient of an ant is very high compared to its mass, so like a feather it won't fall very fast in air no matter what you do. If you evacuate the air, it'll fall faster, but it'll also die from lack of air.

    2) No number of ants can carry a person. They can't coordinate themselves to that extent.

  3. ...wtf?

  4. i hate ants

  5. 1) Depends if you can throw the ant at all because they stick to your body

    2) I would say about 200 ants

  6. 1) ants do not plunge to death, because it weights so little that air resistence becomes too high for its body to fall fast enough to create enough physical impact.

    2) my guess: 1 ant can carry about 1/10 grams max.  A human girl would weight about 50 kg.  So 10*1000*50 would be 500,000 ants?

  7. You COULD throw them, but it's easier to squish them. (Just to be sure).

At my weight, there are not enought ants one earth.

....because I squish about a hundred a day, in my spare time.
