Anville Alright to dominate the A3 500M Flat at Sheffield
Sheffield will be packed with greyhound racing enthusiasts on 18th February, 2012, for the A3 500M Flat. Six hounds will be competing for the prize of £89.
The race line-up consists of Anville Alright, Bold Scarty, Park Amnesia, Ballymac Serena, Russanda Rooney, and Droopys Trevor.
Anville Alright is the race favourite and her odds of winning have been calculated as 9 to 4. She secured a 4th place finish in a Grade A3 500M Flat at Sheffield on 27th January, 2012.
The daughter of Kinloch Brae out of Anville Dame finished 3rd in her last race. This race took place on 11th February, 2012, at Sheffield, a Grade A3 500M Flat.
The next contender for this race is Park Amnesia, daughter of Droopys Maldini out of Learner Driver.
Her performance in her last race was impressive as she secured a first place finish at Sheffield in a Grade A3 500M Flat by beating Southwind Spark in 30.72 seconds by a head.
Russanda Rooney, son of Tucks Mein out of Born To Rumble, stood in second place on 3rd February in the A3 500M Flat.
His performance in the next race, A3 500M Flat, was less impressive as he finished in 5th place.
Bold Scarty will bring tough competition to this race. The son of Scarty Lad out of Perfect Jayne, whelped in November 2009, secured three 1st place finishes at Sheffield.
He beat Lodgeview Print by a neck on 21st December 2011.
He repeated this stellar performance on January 25th when he defeated Headford Frank by 1 ½ length, and then on 11th February, 2012, he sped past Russelena Barbie and beat her by ½ a length.
All her victories took place over a 500 metre track at Sheffield.
Ballymac Serena, daughter of Royal Impact out of Mitsubishi Flyer, has secured two placed positions since the year began.
She embraced a win at a 500 metre course in The Pick Six Jackpot Starts Here by beating Russelena Abby by 5 ¼ lengths in 29.77 seconds on 3rd February 2012.
On 10th February, 2012, she finished 3rd at Sheffield in a Grade A3 500M Flat.
Droopys Trevor, son of Droopys Scolari out of Droopys Roberta, has failed to secure a placed position in his last five races, and thus, his prospects of winning this race are not bright.
Speculators predict that Anville Alright is all set to secure a victory in this race.
Her lead will be followed by Bold Scarty whose odds of winning are 5 to 2.
Park Amnesia’s odds of winning are 3 to 1 but her trainer, P. Sanderson has high expectations of her.
