For a straight second time, he broke from the same stall and ended at the same position. He could not beat the speed of the winner, Bit View Micko, and could not match up to the racing expertise of the runner-up, Black Beach.
The favourite winner of the race took 29.39 seconds to make it to the other end of the wire while missing the chance by two lengths had Black Beach following right in.
Anville Dean completed the trip in 29.67 seconds.
He then finished sixth in the Linacre Standard – Division B on 23rd September, 2012 at Coventry over 485 metres.
He has drawn the sixth gate for tonight and has all the chances of rectifying the last race that he missed. Falling into a high gear after breaking and then covering as much ground as possible while racing on the wide end will assure him success tonight.
