  1. well, i never miss any of his speech. I even voted for the opposition with my first eligibility,, but i dint do that because i trust the opposition party or kering kering hate the goverment,,

Now that Anwar has won, finally the govt party has lost their comfort. They will definitely work harder to gain people's trust,, and Anwar also has to work hard to retain the trust that the people has on him.

Hence, the politics in Malaysia will no doubt improve.

  2. It's comforting to see that such positive changes will bring about a more stable, democratic and progressive environment. Especially if the education, judicial, employment and other critical systems and depts are enhanced for a faster progress towards meeting the developed nation's goal by 2020. The country's destiny is really dependent on how the key politicians and people of various ethnic groups can work closely together, to enable the nation to become one of the leading lights in the Asia Pacific region. She can do it: she has all the natural and human resources, a huge potential--it is only how these could be maximised with efficient  governance and a capable leadership.  Just my thoughts.

  3. malaysia will has a dark future.........

  4. Im gonna say Absolutely, maybe..

  5. i think what u r thinking too

and he wants to put all together...become like a traffic light...

    good whaat....

    i need to see changes...

  7. finally, Malaysia has somethng to celebrate. Can't wait for 16/9/08, perhaps Anwar can then appoint Najib as Ambassador to Mongolia.

  8. A little reality check here.

Thailand people are fighting, they have armed terrorist who, correct me if I'm wrong, killed a busload of buddhist monks. Now their people are staging violent protest

We ARE better than Thailand. Our people do not take guns and fight among ourself for the past 50 years, we are lucky for that.

We have corruption, no doubt. Indonesia is even worse. And they too have terrorist, whom IIRC, bomb hotels and resorts. We ARE better than indonesia. We don't bomb people

It doesn't matter who the leader is, he's not a god. Malaysia progress depends on our own people, much more than anyone care to admit

take our students for example. If our country can produce good students, it attracts big company to invest in our country, such as Intel. People go to China for cheap labor, but they come here for our brains.

If our people are all lazy to persue higher education, we cannot provide the engineers and programmers people wants, and so nobody will set up anything in our country.

I'm a Chinese, and I can tell that our country is far from pathetic. yes we are not perfect, but we have to take what we get and be thankful for all the problems we do not have

Look at myanmar, they are under military rule, worse than communism. There are so many countries out there fighting among themself. and some like Iran are unfortunate to have a retarded leader who's interested in making bombs and threatening others with sea of fire. And in africa continent, people are fighthing among themself, armed terrorist taking the streets while millions of people are suffering from poverty and disease for eons

No country is perfect, but our's aint that bad if you think about it.

And our country is in the hand of the people themself. More than what anyone care to admit =)

    Have a nice day

  9. You mean torchlight?

  10. I think maybe with Anwar we can have a much cleaner government, and the much sought -after racial harmony too.

  11. Secularisme

  12. James,

I will definitely support your proposal.

Why we always wanted to compare to Thailand or Indonesia or Myanmar, can't we compare to Singapore, Korea or Japan.

Where are we 10 year ago and where are we now?

Since we are not going to getting worsen with a change, why don't we try to do it.

  13. waaaa...i read in the papers BN prepare 10 000 sticks of satay for their rally.....wish i was there...even tho i am not eligible to vote.....

  14. ..........i hope so...lets pray

  15. he won a battle but not war

  16. It is not whether Msia going to be better than another country or not. The main concerns are what are best for Msians, its developments, its  education and its prosperity. Anwar winning and becoming the head of opposition is sure a good wake up call for some people in power and is sure to increase the intergrity and pace of life in Malaysia. Anwar happens to be the right person at the right time when changes are needed. Best wishes to Anwar and family and the Malaysians too!
