  1. Figure out what you are anxious about and write it down for the therapist to read.  Then write what you do when you are feeling anxious.  The list should read with these titles a) Activating Event b) Beliefs c) Consequence

    e.g.,

    Activating Event:

friend passes me in the street without acknowledging me

    Belief:

He doesnt like me, Im worthless, I need people to acknowledge me so that I know they like me

    Consequence:

    emotions - hurt, depressed

behaviour - avoiding people in general

  2. Someone is suggesting that you have a little hypochondriasis.  You needn't worry.

Instead of making it an anxiety, or panic issue, I would ask for bloodwork and urinalysis, and EKG.  Once that is done to clear you of any physical problems, you will be okay.

    Best of luck.

  3. If you still have anxiety after, try finding some therapy. It can do wonders in helping you learn to control your anxiety.

  4. Do you have an anxiety support group, near you, where you can attend meetings, they can be an invaluable resource for sufferers, when I attended, they got me back on track, back to normal, again.

  5. Don't do any blow thats for sure!!

  6. the specialist will just talk you into it. like their practiced to do so. should you not feel ok after the consult, ask if you could go back. sometimes you just need to hear it often for you to believe
