Question:

Any African Americans here voting for McCain?

I just answered a question on why do people say that blacks are voting for Obama just because he's black. I simply haven't heard of any African Americans voting for McCain, so I think the statement's true so far. But we can't generalize so, are there any African Americans here voting for McCain?

  3. 10 percent of African Americans are republicans, they will be voting for McCain. Plus some of the Members of Pumas. Its been like this for the longest. Bush was the only candidate to get about 50% of Black votes and he screwed it up.

  7. Girl, I was one of the people who answered your question and said that it was true that the majority of blacks were only voting for Obama  just because he's black. Remember my answer? I'm not sure who I'm voting for or if I'm even voting. The only reason why I don't wanna vote is because I don't like either of the candidates and don't want to be one of the people who pick the wrong one and regret my vote. You know what I mean? So, I'm undecided.

  8. Of course there will be some. Black people are like anyone else...they don't vote as a block...they make their own decisions. It is true, however, that Obama will receive 90+% of the black vote and that he is hoping for a 30% increase in the black turnout due to his candidacy (in other words, 30% more blacks coming out to vote for him who otherwise would not have bothered to vote). He'll likely get that.
