  1. If you are surfing then its around Mar del  Plata or Buenos Aires. Becareful of petty theft. Try not to talk loud, be respectful. Dont worry about a guide. Argentina is very nice.  Locals will treat you just fine.

Palermo Hollywood is an area where a lot of nightlife is.

The best steak in the world. A subway system and if you need to go further out. There are trains to the outer suburbs.

  2. Well,  I am surprised anyone is asking about that place. I must suggest to go to a Travel agent and make sure u have a tour guide and if u really want an ideal of the Country, go rent "Dont Cry for me Argentina".  This is an exceptional film and should give someone an ideal of the countries culture.  I haven't been to South America myself, but i think that there is alot of fruit, coffee beans, tabaco and illegal drugs that are grown there.   I also know that one of the most beautiful WaterFalls and Rain Forest exsists in that Region of the country.. I think it is like anywhere in the world, u get what u want out of your travel.

Enjoy and take lots of pictures.
