Question:

Any CCVPs (or knowlegeable CCNPs) that can help me out?

I'm trying to set up QoS for VOIP on a 3560 switch. The phones and PCs are sharing a port so I can't do QoS by port. But I can't do the "match protocol" command on this switch (any switch?) How do I get my switch to recognize and tag the voice packets? I'm just a lowly CCNA and this was placed in my lap after someone ran an auto qos on the switch and left it to run for months. Now phones are disconnecting because auto qos doesn't work with non-Cisco phones (not without further configuration anyway.)

  1. Create a separate VLAN for the VOIP phones and using a IP scheme off from your main data network.
