Any Calgary/Waterton Lakes recommendations?

My friends and I are going on a roadtrip during the summer to Waterton Lakes National Park and Calgary. We're fresh outta highschool, so we're on a budget.... we're driving from southern California, four of us are going... we're going to be gone for two weeks. We're on a fairly tight budget since we're only 17/18.... we're each taking around 1500-2000 u.s. dollars... I just wanted to know if anyone recommended any campgrounds to stay at when we're in Waterton Lakes for two nights [we have a tent, not a camper] and if anyone recommended any hotels to stay in for one night in Calgary... our limit for a hotel room a night is about 125.... thanks so much!!!

You have 4 campgrounds run by Parks Canada right within the National Park.  The government campgrounds are usually great and ideal for tenting and an out doors feel.  The aren't like RV Parks.

The campground in the town of Waterton is first come first serve as well most ran by the government. For a cheap hotel in Calgary try best western or Super 8. Even better if you are a AAA member for discounts. Here is a nice one in outside Waterton town:

Waterton Springs Campground

Located 3 km (1.9 mi) north of Waterton Lakes National Park on Hwy #6, Waterton Springs Campground offers fully-serviced and semi-serviced pull-through sites and many fully treed tenting sites. Campground amenities include 11 showers, 26 flush toilets, a laundromat, a lounge area, a convenience store, a games room, a playground, fishing, firewood, ice and campfire pits and picnic tables at each site. Reservations are accepted. Directions Just north of park gates, on Hwy #6

Ya the campgrounds in waterton are amazing and really fun.
