Any Cheap Tips For The Summer Holidays?

My family is a bit skint this summer, but would still really like to have some fun. The weather is rubbish, so we can't do anything outside and we don't have enough money to do anything fun!!!

Any tips?

my sis is always out,

depending on the age of your kids i guess?

invest/borrow some wellies and waterproofs and go

PUDDLE JUMPING  !!!!

its FREE and fun and if you live in the uk you will have plenty more rainy days to repeat this fun experience!

kids love getting wet and dirty and they love been outside regardless.

hot bath when they get home, cup of cocoa, bottle of wine for mum lol  job done!  plus you can all do it together!

ps wear warm clothes underneath!

Hmm tough one.

If you can't afford to get outside the country, then wait till October when the prices are cheaper.

Try Mainland Spain, you can get holidays including the flights for £200 or something like that and it's still quite warm out there. Or double the price and go for Canary Islands which is close to Africa... also very hot!

Have like different theme days, like movie day for example and just make some popcorn and watch films.

Or have everyone take a turn at making some kind of dinner or treat for the rest of the family a different night each week and at the end of the week decide a winner.

Or you could just invite other friends over too and have a night in and everyone bring something like food or a drink to the party. It's always fun :)

hi! do things like lazerzone and cinema, they only cost about £5 a person and they can be really fun, if you go to the cinema, pick a long film and then you get better value for your money!

another good idea is thorpe park. it is usually expensive but at tesco they give away BOGOF vouchers
