Can any of you tell me what "patadas de ahogado" means?

'Kicks of the drowning one?'  I guess it means 'last gasps' or 'grasping for straws' or something like that?  You probably say that when you know somebody is just doing or saying something because they have nothing left.  They know they're finished.  That would be my guess.  Good luck.

It basically translates to last gasps of a drowning man.In the USA we would say going down for the third or last time. Similar to that.  I know the words translate diff. but thats what it means.
