Can a dealer please help me.

I found a 2006 Nissan Titan LE on autotrader.com for $16,998 with only 45,00 miles. It is lifted with off road tires and has a navigation system.

Can someone please tell me if this is a good deal or not & give me the wholesale value.

It's from a small dealership called Payless Car Sales.

I am a new buyer so I am clueless. I just want the truck really bad.

  1. that dealer is from Virginia.

That truck is worth $13,000, not a red cent more

  2. I would not pay more than 13.500.  Trucks are really cheap right now with the gas being so high so I would offer this to the dealer if you really want to buy it.  Dealers are desperate to sell trucks and I am sure they will work with you to help them get rid of a truck when nobody is buying.

    Good Luck

  3. I thought you could get a brand new car for that much... but I dunno.

I'd wait because with the gas prices so high, it probably isnt worth getting your own car right now.

  4. Its one year old with 45k miles?  Probably a previous rental.  Rentals, depending on the rental company, are sometimes not maintained very well.  I would ask for the service history to make sure all of the recommended services were done.  Check www.kbb.com for Kelley Blue Book values but  Iwould be careful if it is a previous rental.

  5. I thought you meant drugs

  6. Do a carfax check and see what comes up.

  7. LE is top of the line. Guy talking about rentals is whacked. I own a rental and rental companies take care of their rides better than the average joe. They can't afford the car breaking down and you calling and complaining to them. I have seen people trade in 2 year old cars with 15-20k miles and never changed the oil.

Being lifted it probably was not a rental anyhow.  I am selling 2 WD 2007's king cab titans at a loss ( that we have had for 90 days) for 12000. They are XE's which is the bottom of the line. I would offer 14,500 + tax,tag license and see what they say. Yours is one year older, but is top of the line. You didn't mention if 4 WD or not and I am guessing is a crew.

    Good Luck!
