Any Eagle Scout Project Ideas?

Question

I want to come up with something out of the norm, no book drives, blood drives, landscaping for a church.....i want something over the top, and never done before, almost something that will be remembered in history. Any help.

I know someone who built libraries in poor schools in India. That may be a little too over the top, but it gets you thinking. He got his idea because he loves reading but goes to India every year and has seen people who don't even get food. Find something you like to do and tie it in.

A playground for children, you will need to get the land donated, playground equipment, benches for the parents to sit on....quite a project, but I have faith you can do it.

Enlist volunteers, a steering committee, then letters, visits, speaking engagements, advertising, Contact local businesses, Churches, good luck and thank you.
