Any English people recently moved to Istanbul (Turkey)?

Are there any recent English natives that have moved to Istanbul Turkey and are still finding their way so to speak. Would be great to hear from you and share your experiences I am here for two years and settling in fine.

There are a lot of TEFL teachers in Istanbul, some of whom I know meet up sometimes for a beer, to watch football or for a pub quiz etc and communicate on these two discussion fora:

They are working in the Embassy, go see them there
