Any Final Fantasy fans out there?

I was thinkin about purchasing a final fantasy game, cause I think the series looks really cool, but uh, I don't know which one to get. I've never played any before.

So uh, FF fans, what will be fun for someone who has never played FF before? I want something thats not going to really be hard or something if I'm not used to the series.

And also, preferably for DS or maybe GBA, not console.

If you want one for the DS, Final Fantasy III and IV have both been remade for that system. I would recommend FF3 if you want something a bit easier, but both of them are great. If you really want to get into the series though, I would recommend playing Final Fantasy VII. It's the most well-known and has an amazing storyline and characters. They're all incredible games though, and each one has individual qualities that might drawn you to one instead of the others. if you want to play one you have to go console. get final fantasy 7 for the playstation. it really hard to find and their usually pretty expensive due to the popularity of it. it has the best game play of them all, a great and emotional story, and some decent graphics . now ff8 is a little more complicated to play but i think that the story is one the best in the franchise.  ff tactics is a turn based strategy like disgaea and tactics ogre. that is my favorite game in the entire franchise.

but overall any ff game is a great one.
