Any French friend please help!?

Hiya, I am going to travel Paris on Sat 14 July. It is said most of shops will close on that day becasue it is Bastille Day. Will my shopping plan be affected?

Er yes, It's a public holiday. Most shops in France don't open on a Sunday either.

Yes. The French are too lazy to work properly.

And watch your credit cards carefully - they like to copy them.

Most smaller shops will probably be closed, although the bigger department stores like Galleries Lafayettes will be open. Plus I think it is summer sales at the moment so I'd be surprised if bigger places are closed.... you might even get a few bargains there ;) Happy shopping!

Yes its a Holiday, its the French Independent Day, so any many stores and malls are closed... the only places probably open will be the souvenir shops all over the place..

Everything is closed as it is the French National Holiday.
