Linksys Business Series Draft-N Wireless Gigabit VPN Security Router for DSL/Cable Modems with 4-Port Gigabit Switch. (WRVS4400N) would be my choice. However, since the WAN side of your router is  not running at GIGABIT speed then you would only be taking advantage of the Gigabit features with your LAN. The machines need Gigabit cards also in order to take advantage router's capability.

Lots but they will not increase your Internet connection. This is governed by your ISP and the distance you are from the exchange.
