  1. resorts maybe

  2. You're NOT SERIOUS I hope.

If you call $8 A DAY good wages, then go for it... but I'd like to know how you plan to even make that much if you are an AmeriKan.

  3. tourist guider!!!

  4. the skilled persons, sometimes  earn more in mexico than in the US for the same position.

    SAP analists

IT LEVEL 4 AND ABOVE,  senior managers, and junior supply chain executives able to work in an stressful enviroments able to speak in 4 languages.

some doctors with loads of qualifications.

    geneticists.

  5. I am assuming that you are a US citizen or citizen of a country other than Mexico.  If so, the best paying jobs will be with a global company that has locations in Mexico.  As an expat you would receive much more money than a local hire -- even if you worked for the same company!

That said, the easiest way to become an employee in a foreign location is to work for that company to begin with!  Other than that, you would need some very desirable skill (perhaps being bilingual and trained in IT) to enter a global firm and immediately be placed into an expat position.

Many people choose to teach at "American" schools in various countries, but depending upon what you consider to be "good pay" you may not view that as an option.  You will also need to meet the requirements of the various agencies that recruit for those jobs.

Considering that resorts can generally hire bilingual locals for much less than foreign employees, I would highly doubt that you could find a "good" paying job at a resort unless you had already been an employee in the resort chain elsewhere and were moving into an upper level management position at one of those resorts -- even then, most of the hotel managers I know here in Mexico are Mexican citizens.

If you provide more details as to what you consider to be a "good" pay, perhaps others can help you more.

  6. ok!!!! yep there is good paying jobs but you must at least speak two languajes  spanish of course, plus, let say korean, chinesse, japanesse and yes english of course.I know some gringos that even without speaking any spanish landed a job like liaisons for american companies doing bussines in mexico.( of course now 3 years latter they are bilingual, let say 60/ 100) your attitude will define your altitud.......... mi amigo, buena suerte from saltillo mexico.

  7. Jobs that pay a lot of money in general.. Depends on if you're open to illegal jobs haha.

Congressmen and regional mayors of outskirt municipios around Mexico City earn as basepay 10,000 US dollars A MONTH without counting bonuses. In mexican terms that's a heck of a lot of money.

Doctors earn a pretty good living depending on where you work though the pay is nothing compared to the US. Resident pay really depends on the hospital. Some places pay residents good wages like around 2,000 US a month and others only 200 a month. Yes, I am serious, 200 dollars a month for resident doctors. Quite hard to believe.

Mexican soap actors earn about as much as doctors but they have a horrible work hours. Sometimes they work 24 hours straight at a time with only a few free hours to take naps.

As far an American, you'd have to find a company willing to get you a work visa and to be your patrons for a job you could do better than a mexican national. Being an American doesn't guarantee you will get a well paying job either, though being racially white would be attractive to the company.

  8. OK - Let's be fair - it's actually closer to $20/day than $8... and you can live well on that if you are humble and don't mind eating eggs and beans.

Yes, you can make more money the more languages you speak. The best place I've found to find good jobs in Mexico is in www.craigslist.com    I found a job that paid $18/hr. to simply teach english.

    There you go! Have fun!
