Any Good Story Ideas???

I want to write a fantasy story about witches or vampires or something...can anyone give me some story ideas???

Do the world a favor and read up on a lot of mythology. Theres so much fantasy trash out there. Fantasy should be a respected genre and should broaden the imagination, both encouraging kids to read more and, well, imagine more. Fantasy is a complicated genre and requires a lot of patience, making sure you still have limits in your story, and relation to real life events so your reader can feel really involved.

Now if your just finished reading twilight and want to write, please do the world a favor and go to fanfiction.net to pour out your writing ideas. True fantasy takes time, effort, and reading of different stories....yes....even twilight *sigh* but please no more "dime a dozen" vampire books!
