No , there are better financial stocks out there, some with much higher dividend, some with much better financials.

I would. Now is the time to buy stocks, when they are low. They appear to be a poor investment right now but stocks are a long term investment. Think of it this way, you have £10 to buy stocks, a year ago this would buy you 1, now you can buy 4. The financial markets will recover eventually (remember the 80's!). In 10 years those stocks will be worth 4 times what they are worth now. If you are in it for the long run i would invest now.
