Any Ideas For fun golf competitions within a main competition?

ANy ideas beyond the usual nearest the pin, longest drive, straightest drive etc?

How about the WORST round, and the prize being a pink ball or something!

to start, initial every bodies ball, take a quid off them all and the person who lasts the longest( completes 18 holes) without loosing their ball wins the kitty.or closest to 18holes

give everybody a little flag. each flag is worth( in shots) the par for the course plus their handicap, again the person who gets furthest around the course before running out of shots wins, and the last shot must be either on the fairway or green, when they have run out of shots they place their flag where ever the last shot landed, last group out pick them up! so small flags!

if you are playing a scramble, then there are that many options, too many to write here, but all fun! trust me, i started my own fun club in Saudi, 9 hole scramble every saturday at 1 o'clock, every week a different theme and ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE

On a par 5 you can have closest to the hole in regulation (3 shots).  Anyone making an eagle is going to win.  Sandbagger award - highest percentage below their handicap.  Good sport award for highest score.

Worst dressed.

oldest clubs award (for the person who has rusty irons and a wood that's actually made out of wood).

craziest shot (for unusual things like hitting out of bounds but hitting a rock and bouncing back into play).

ugliest driver (like those p**s-yellow square ones from nike).

How about fancy dress??  Get the guys to dress as girls?  Our juniors did it for charity recently and raised £350 amongst 5 of them.  Could have a prize for the best dressed 'girl'

Or how about night golf?  Good fun.
