People are doing theirs on how to make cookies and then taking cookies to class or how to make a cake and they take a cake. What do you think mine should be on and it doesnt have to be food,i just want to make it different and something easy. Thanx!!!

  1. just bear in mind, you have many options, any cultural information fro  any spanish Speaking country. you have a lot of options, mexico, columbia etc

  2. Make some tamales or enchiladas. Just put them in a crock pot to keep warm. How much more spanish can you get than that, LOL

  3. Do it on what your hobby is. I like rideing motorcycles, so I would do it on proper safety techniques while operating a bike.

  4. You can make guacamole and salsa and take chips for the class to try them!  Or show the class how to make sopapillas or tortillas--it's really easy and cheap!  I had recipes but can't find them on my computer--just google the recipes!

  5. since everyone is doing on food .. it would be better if you do something else...

    how about presenting the following

-> presenting a radio talk show

-> presenting a painting to a group of tourist .

-> presenting on how to dance a Spanish dance.

-> presenting how olive oil are made?( Spain is the largest producer of it..

    how it helps

  6. This is what you will need.

2 peices of Tilapia per person (if you have to fix for every person)

baby carrots, bag of fresh spinach, an onion, a lemon, some green olives, brown rice.

for dessert one box of devil food cake mix and 15 ozs can of pumpkin

Sorry I dont know how many people you will be serving.

    For the fish:

Season flour and coat fish (no eggs or milk)

In a oiled and heated skillet add the fish and do not turn for 5 minutes each side. After fish is cooked ...With the oil that is left over add lemon juice (one lemon) and then add chopped onion, and carrots ( I add chopped aspargus sometimes) and then add huge hand fulls of spinach... and cook them really fast until heated but not soft. In the end add a small can of tomato and chili sauce and let it simmer for about a minute. Chop up some fresh green olives to garnish.

Plate the food as follows: A scoop of cooked brown rice then a scoop of veggies and then two golden peices of fish with green olive crmbles on top of the fish. It will look like your a great cook.

dessert: large glass bowl, add can of pumpkin and then add a box of devils food cake mix and stir with a fork until completely mixed and then put it in muffin tins and bake for 20 minutes at 350. Do not add any other liquids. You can add a hand ful of nuts and coconut if you like and it will not change anything. (serve with ice cream like its a peice of cake)

You will have an excellent main dish and dessert that are healthy and low glycemic index.

  7. "how to pack a suitcase for overseas travel"...you can include fun things like luggage weight, carry-on size, where to put lotions/liquids, what kind of clothes you'll need to bring for Spain in (example) May (check weather tables). how much extra an airline charges for  heavy luggage. how to fold clothes, always keeping your shoes soles facing upward, etc....good luck

  8. Do something fun like applying eyeshadow to create a smokey eye effect.  Have one of your class-mates come up and be the subject to whom you apply the eyeshadow.

Or buy a bead kit, and demonstrate how to make a bracelet.  Supply each student with supplies, so they can follow along.

Or how about planting a bulb plant, then bring it back when it starts to sprout to show the progress of the project.
