I am left in the dark about some information about my relatives. My great grandfather was adopted. All I know is that he was European, and that he had blue eyes. Any suggestions on which country in Europe he may have come from?

**Please, only serious answers, thanks**

  1. Do you know anything else? A lot of European people have blue eye's?Try & find out some surnames & look up the genenoalgy sites, that might help, ask your older family members?

  2. Hi, my dear

Well... just "blue eyes" is really  NOT  a heck of a description to go on the search my dear...that's a little tooo vague - just think os "blue-eyes" Frank Sinatra...smile!!! You would have to get further information from your relatives !!!

Wish you good luck on your research-Lots of love from Germany...Annette****

  3. The farther north you go, the more blue eyes are prevelent, but there are blue-eyed Greeks and brown-eyed Swedes. With such slight information you can't really get a good answer. If you want to get a DNA test it might give you some clues, but "Blue eyes" isn't enough.

Anyone who says "Norway" is toying with you.
