Any Ideas Please...My daughter wants to make her dad something for his birthday??

Well, my 4 year old wants to make her dad a present for his birthday. I think that this is very sweet and genuine; however, I am not sure what she could make and how. I have never been an artistic person...any ideas or websites would really be appreciated.

A remote control holder?  You could buy a pre-made wooden box (something from an arts and crafts store) and have her stain it/decorate it.  Cute if she puts her hands in gold paint and makes a hand print....and then you stain the wood over the hand print.  or similar...

hiya i think a great present is ..... a photo album with pictures of her and her dad in it and she could draw some pictures too and stick them in it.

well you could find a nice smooth rock and decorate it and happy birthday or a scrapbook

Have her paint a picture and take her to pick out a frame for it.  Or, at a craft store, buy a wooden frame that she can paint or glue decorations onto for him.

make a picture frame out of popcycle sticks. if not that, then make a coaster out of them or something.

aww that is a good idea. How about buying a hand print molding kit. you can frame her hand print in a folding frame and on one side you could have her hand print and the other you could put a picture sh drew of the two of them or a picture that you have taken of them. He'll love that. I know i would. GOOD LUCK!!

Here's an idea for the birthday cake.  Super easy and my daughter had fun, you could also decorate with M&M's etc.

I bought a cheap little wooden tray from a craft store and stained it myself, then my boys put their hand prints on it and we wrote We Love You Daddy!! on it. He could use it to toss his keys and wallet into when he walks in the door

maybe she can decorate a white shirt with fabric paints (hand prints, writing, designs). Also she can make a homemade birthday card. Have her draw a birthday cake on the front. You write happy birthday daddy inside and she can draw and color inside. Another thing that could be done is possibly get a art and craft wooden bird house... or anything else you see that he might like... and she can paint it. You can get them in the art and craft area at walmart.
