Go on the Oriental trading site and get the decorations from there.really cheap.You will also get some ideas also.Food needs to be lite and fresh.Hope this helps...

Tiki Torches

Metal Tubs for drinks

put a small plastic round kiddie pool on a table, fill with ice and set cold dishes in there (fruit salad, potato salad or whatever else)

Beach Balls

Set up a volleyball net for "beach" volleyball

you could have a luau theme party

there is a bunch of stuff at oriantal trading but that isnt how you spell it look it up at google... im doing it in the evening were i can turn on lights and stuff and we going to have spot lights on the pool. im going to have smokeys and hamburgers and meatballs and little things to snack on.

i will have drinks like pina coladas, margaritas, strawberry daqeriues, and orange puch, not to mention soda and all them will be virgin(non alcholic). i will have eprsonilized margarita glasses, glow in the dark necklaces, and glow in the dark martini glasses.and glow in the dark straws but im getting all the stuff from oriental trading that is the best place ohh yeah and im buying leis too but you should go there

A luau is always fun! I have seen life size cut outs at Party City of a cartoon lady and gent in luau attire with the faces cut out.. so the guest could go behind it and get their photos taken. I hope you understand what I am talking about.. my daughter and her friends who are 19 did it for a luau party last summer.. everyone was taking pictures..it was pretty funny! Also decorate outside with some luau lanterns that string like Christmas lights.. finally go to this site: www.celebrationideasonline.com and go to family fun and click on 4th of July.. great idea for light up leis.  Those would be perfect for your party.. good luck .
