Any Ideas for a Punk Rock bedroom theme thats not too expensive?

I am wanting to re-do my room in punk rock, like the pink and black w/guitars etc. ANY IDEAS THAT ARENT TOOO EXPENSIVE WELCOME!!!!

im turning sixteen and ive wanted a punkrock bedroom for a few years. my advice: dont paint walls pink or black. paint them a color that you can change the theme to if you need to. like green or yellow or blue (these are the colors i am considering for my new room im finally getting).

im also going a little old-school, too. im going to a thrift store to buy a whole bunch of records, then im gluing them to the walls. it will look so cool.

buy a blow-up guitar lol. those are cool for decoration. for lighting, see if you can find some used disco balls, black lights, or lava lamps on amazon.com. also, shag rugs are good, too.

and as for furniture...any kind of bed works. dresser should have some cool rock decorations or nicnacs on top (you can find them at icing or claires). and chairs: anything modern. butterfly chairs, moon chairs, and bowl chairs are just a few examples that you could buy in pink or black.

if you find cheap plain black or pink pillows, buy some giant clothes pins or some coffee glue and have fun decorating.

just be patient and look for things on amazon, on sale, or in thrift stores. colloect things over time. even though my room has fish painted on the walls, i practically have a rock and roll themed room already because i covered the walls in posters and ive been collecting rock accessories forever lol.

paint one wall white two walls hot pink and one wall black. then get a purple shag rug and lots of posters. glue large rhinestones on a mirror. paint grafitti on one wall, paint gutairs etc. you can always repaint it if you get sick of it!

for a REAL punk bedroom. just take a wood axe and start swinging at the wall until it looks nice and worn out. Spray paint whatever comes to mind on the walls and be happy.

yes, you can paint panel walls.  I would say hang some posters of your fave punk bands.  Get some funky throw pillows.  It seems like every punk bedroom Ive been in had a flag hanging on the ceiling...usually a pirate one (or English), that'd be cool.  At Wal mart they sell paint that is the texture of a chalkboard, it would be cool and you could write and draw on your walls!  Display your favorite punk rock hats, bags and buttons if you have them, and some framed old school album covers hanging on the wall.  I dont know where to buy it but you can buy rolls of silver or diamond plate metallic wall paper, or metallic paint.  A vintage mirror and old dresser would be nice (Im thinking thrift store)  maybe you could find or make a pink and black plaid comforter or duvet.  Nothing says punk rock in a bedroom better than black walls! you could make some hot pink curtains or find a skull design on fabric. hope some of these ideas help you...Im an old punk rocker so not real knowledgeable with the new school pink skully things...but I LOVE the idea!!!  Good luck!!!
