  1. A fishing tackle box is a good idea as is a tool box, but it depends on how much craft stuff you need to store.

An over the door shoe organizer works well too.  It will hold the bigger stuff and they make them in clear plastic so you can see your stuff.

I have those tin buckets (They sell them in the $1 section at Target all the time.) hanging from my shelves where I do my crafts at.  They work well to hold markers, pens, brushes, tape, etc.

Ribbon can be stored on a hanger.  Snip near the hook and feed the spools onto the hanger.  It works best if you tack the ends of the ribbon down on each roll.

My favorite craft storage is my cubbies.  It is a wooden tower that is 8"x8"x48".  It has four of those cloth drawers in red, blue, green, and yellow.  I can pull out the drawer I need and take it with me.  The best part was it was plain wood.  I was able to decorate it in any way that I wanted.  I bought two of them at Michael's for $19.99 a piece.

  2. I use a fishing tackle box.  Lots and lots of little compartments to hold and sort lots of little items.
