What is your price range???..games Nintendo Wii blah blah...if they don't have it already....find out what they don't have or what their interests are cause all boys at this age are different.Then get something appropriate to their hobby. Do you know this kid???

Good grades?

If he has good grades and if he doesn't have a phone... get him one that's CHEAP.

If he doesn't have good grades buy him something small like, a basketball, or some money so that he could just get something for himself that HE likes..

you all are cheapskates go on ebay and find a NES with 2 controllers and a few games then tell him that's what we had to play when we were little.I remember that one christmas where I was in my room the doors were shut and the only light in my room was the glare of the t.v in my face oh god I loved that feeling! so buy him a nes and he will be happy to play games like super mario bros, exitebike , etc the nes was the bomb.

my son is 12 at the moment but is turning 13 in feb so i am having the same problem, plus he has nearly every game console ever made, but i was thinking of a nice watch or necklace, just something special, but he likes building stuff

Try something different, but in a nice way. Instead of getting him something that's going to keep him inside, get him a simple camping kit. Even if he only uses it in the backyard, it will be cool. He could invite friends around and have a sleep over outside.
