Question

In our country various kinds of astrological processes like horoscope matching,auspicious time for marriage are considered while doing marriages.Many times marriage is not done just because the horoscope didnt match or there was some problem in the bride's/groom's horoscope chart.But it is sad to say that many of these marriages result in dowry deaths,divorce,cheating etc.

So if marriage was really was done at the auspicious time with best matched horoscopes then why did the marriage ended as a failure ?

Were the horoscopes really compatible and the couples deliberately separated ?

Was the astrologer who analysed the horoscopes wasnt a genuine astrologer?

In western countries(unfortunately nowadays in India also) it is common for every person to marry more than once in her/his lifetime under the pretext that their married life was "bored" or for someother silly reason.So can we say that the horoscope chart of western people are debilitated with respect to marriage?

I AM BELIVER IN ASTROLOGY BUT I AM NOT SUPERSTITIOUS.I REALLY HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR THE INDIAN CULTURE AND TRADITIONS.

TO MAKE A TASTY TEA , WE NEED VARIOUS INGRIDIENTS.- BUT ITS NOT NECESSARY THAT ALWAYS TEA WILL TASTE GOOD.AS IT DEPENDS ON MANY OTHER FACTORS ALSO.

Every western marriage doesn’t break...I’ve come across people for whom it has lasted 40 happy years. Indians may divorce less but that doesn’t mean the intact marriages are perfect...I’ve seen people hating it but staying together only for reasons like, the lack of social/financial support, self-sacrifice for the children, fear of what people may think. Those who do decide to end the marriage also have to take all its consequences/responsibilities, and that can’t be fun. So what really is ‘debilitating’ may be hard to judge from afar!

I’d say astrology/horoscopes give some indications of the future, but one shouldn’t wait passively for destiny to lead their lives. We’re each accountable for our actions, can’t also blame it all on predictions. People around the world follow rituals/traditions that may seem superstitious to others. If it works for them, or at least gives them some satisfaction or solace, so be it, right?
