Any Irish people here, I need opinions on this name???

Question

Im picking names for my expected and ive chosen Tadhg for a boy.

I asked for opinions on middle names and someone suggested Jamal.

I actually think "Tadhg Jamal" has a ring to it.

What do you think?

When I tell people I like Tadhg they all agree its lovely but so far anyone ive told about the middle name they look at me as if im mad.

I really love the name Tadhg but I think it looks odd with Jamal.

personally it sounds like a pigs name..i like Oliver, Timothy, , or Alex...well for a girl def. isabelle or emme..

Hmmm not too sure on that, as far as I can se if you're going to name a child an Irish name better make sure all the names are Irish, otherwise its just a bit weird.

Tadhg Jamal is a weird combo....I wouldn't if I were you!I was given an awful middle name....I wish middle names didn't exist!

Because it doesn't sound anything like an Irish name.... More like an Egyptian or African name.

Stick with Joseph or Daniel... If you make it too complicated, no one will remember his name.

Tadhg is a lovely name, it's a good strong name!  Jamal.. It's an arabic name yeah but I think it is rather nice... although at the end of the day it's your decision!  Also your last name would have a lot to do with it too. Tadhg Jamal does sound nice & it's really unusual!  Tadhg Reece sounds nice too & Tadhg Breeen.. My favorite name for a boy is Aaron. Anyways best of luck to you whatever you decide! :-)

Tadgh is not a great name really...my brother is named Jamal though :D
