Any Jets fans upset about losing Pennington?

I am a big Jets fan and my favorite player was Chad Pennington. When I heard about Farve wanting to play again i never thought that he would be a Jet. I was thinking either Tampa Bay or Minnesota. I thought that it was just going to be Pennington vs Clemens for the QB spot. I even just got a Pennington jersey shirt thing and a Pennington hat. I am very upset about him playing for Miami this and next year. So for the Jets 1st and last regular season game i am going to choose Pennington and the Dolphins to win.

Anyone else rather have Pennington over Farve??

i don't think anyone in their right mind would rather pennington over favre, not to offend you or anything but favre is a future hall of famer and pennington is a very average quarterback

They did get a guy named Brett Favre, hes pretty good too. I think it might be safe to say hes better than Chad Pennington.

Get over it.  You all have one of the best QBs in the league.  Pennington was and still is a dweeb.  Be happy you have a real QB now.

I've been a Jets fan from birth and honestly I'm glad Chad "Noodle Arm" Pennington is outta here. He couldn't throw the ball more than 30 yds down the field, sure he's the most Accurate QB in the history of the game, but his arm was so weak it was pathetic. It also didn't help Chad because he played in the bad weather in New York, but now that he's a Dolphin the weather is nice down there and I think its a good move on his part. I'm def not picking the Dolphins to beat the Jets in week 1 tho, but It'll be exciting to see how he performs.

i don't even no how he made it to the nfl. not only that plus he his mean to fans. i was at jet fest a couple of years ago and everybody was giving the fans autographs but chad. he thinks he is all that but he is not. the only reason the dolphins is because they need a qb they would even take a kid from middle school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Put it this way, the Jets never will go anywhere with Chad Pennington. Now, with Brett Favre, they at least have a fighting chance, that, in itself, is a major improvement.

Not I.  Pennington is great until you want to throw farther than 25 yards down field.  He might have the weakest arm in NFL history.  That he has been able to have any success at this level amazes me.
