Any Lakers fans lost some respect for Pau Gasol?

I'm sure all of you have seen the photo where the spain basketball team were trying to make their eyes more slanted to make fun of asians. I lost a lot of respect for gasol today, but whats worst was the spain team were making excuses for their actions.

have laker fans lost respect for Pau Gasol, Ofcourse they have,  in the Season Pau Gasol averaged 20 points per game, in the post season he only averaged about 11 so ofcourse laker fans have lost respect for Pau Gasol, he was being dominated in the post by Kevin Garnett, which was hard to believe cause Pau Gasol is listed above seven feet, and KG is listed at 6'11, i am not a lakers fan, but i dont hate them either, they were good but Kobe also needed to step up his game but unfornately wasnt ablie too

I respect his culture. The picture didn't look malice to me, just ignorant. Then again maybe we have the ignorance. It's normal in some cultures to make fun of anything. If here in America we could let things like this role off our back, this country would be more peaceful.

Because if no one gets offended then no one is angry.

gasol maybe was trying to act bad to lose his soft image. i can still picture 39 yr old pj brown dunking on gasol and odom. pj brown! not alonzo mourning or dikembe mutombo but pj brown who bombed in chicago just years ago.

What Gasol did was wrong and really immature but it wasn't as bad as everyone is makin it seem. His excuse though was just c**p and he should have been able to come up with somethin better or at least maned up ya know!!

Can I ask somethin though, how come Lakers fans except this act of "racism" as just a joke but when Shaq came up with his rap on Kobe it was thought by them as a malicious act of hate (when it was seriously a joke). I don't get it

When I saw that picture.. I didn't think they were making fun. I think they thought they were going to China, so they were taking a Chinese picture. It never crossed my mind that they would be making fun of them. They even had a dragon on the floor. I think people just wait for the second someone does something that could be interpreted as 'racist'. Ridiculous.

I'm Asian and a big Lakers fan .That pic is very racist  but don't single out Pau  .There are 14 more guys in that pic .Really Its no-longer a big deal lets see what Pau and the other NBA players on that team say when the Season starts.

nah gasol said it straight up, he apologized. i really dont know what to think , it doesnt offend me, but they should have known better not to do that.

they made their bed, now they gotta lay in it, all i gotta say.

I'm on the fence right now. He apologized but I don't think he realizes that it was racist. They all seem to think it was just "having fun".
